What's next?

Funny you should ask! Phase 2 of the renovation began yesterday which will include custom cabinetry in the laundry room, new built-ins and mantle in the family room, and new columns on the front of the house.  

We based our decisions for these projects on the fact that the holidays are just around the corner! We didn't want projects dragging into late November or early December, so we worked with our contractor to decide what he could get done in a 4-5 week time frame. Here are some inspiration photos of details that will be added during Phase 2!

::FRONT PORCH:: replacing small round columns with larger square columns

::FAMILY ROOM::
built ins with either wood planks or some sort of wall covering behind the shelves

New mantle with brick detail fireplace surround

 Some sort of panels or doors to hide the TV mounted above the mantle

 ::LAUNDRY ROOM:: pull out drying racks and laundry hamper

I plan to weekly post progress pics of Phase 2! We are hoping this wraps up around the 20th of November...give or take a few days
